Call for Applications – Hungary Scholarship (Stipendium Hungaricum) 2026–2027

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces that it has received an offer of academic scholarships for the academic year2026–2027, provided by the Hungarian Government under the Stipendium Hungaricum program. This program is open exclusively to the top three students in each cohort (excluding repeating students or those who passed in the second session),who are enrolled during the academic year 2025–2026 in: The third year of the Bachelor’s degree (L3) for Master’s applications. The second year of the Master’s degree (M2) for PhD applications. Important Announcement Students wishing to apply for the scholarship are requested to approach theVice-Dean in charge of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research to confirm their intention to participate,no later than Wednesday, 10 December 2025. Additional registration procedures and the preparation of the application file will be completed at a later stage. A motivation letter in English, signed by the immediate supervisor, explaining:    – The reason for choosing to study in Hungary    – The selected study program    – The expected academic objectives A language proficiency certificate in accordance with the host institution’s requirements(may be in English, Hungarian, or another language). A translated medical certificate confirming the applicant’s physical fitness for study.
