As part of efforts to encourage student participation in international scientific and cultural events, and following a communication from the Directorate of Cooperation and University Exchange, students are hereby informed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has received an invitation from the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to participate in the Global English Language Olympiad for Universities (ELO) 2026. Event Information: The Olympiad will take place in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from December 17 to 19, 2026 under the theme: “Artificial Intelligence” Participation Costs Participating teams are responsible for covering the Olympiad registration fees, travel expenses, and accommodation costs. The Olympiad administration will coordinate accommodation arrangements and local transportation with the relevant authorities. Announcement of Doctoral Scholarships at the Modern University of Nouakchott – Second Call for Applications

The administration of the Faculty of Materials Science and Computer Science informs top-ranking students who obtained a Master’s degree during the 2024–2025 academic year that scholarship opportunities have been allocated to Algerian students for the 2026–2027 academic year to pursue doctoral studies at the Modern University of Nouakchott (Islamic Republic of Mauritania). Eligible Fields of Study: This opportunity is open to the top three students of each graduating class in the following disciplines: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Application Submission Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications to the Vice-Dean’s Office for Postgraduate Studies, Scientific Research, and External Relations. Application Deadline: Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Regional University Conference Quota: 15 candidates on the main list and 2 candidates on the reserve list.
