Applications are now open for PhD scholarships at the Université de Nouakchott Al Aasriya (Mauritania) for the academic year 2026-2027. This program is strictly open to current 2nd-year Master’s students (2025-2026) who are ranked among the top of their respective promotions. Eligible Fields: Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics. Scholarship Benefits: A monthly stipend ranging between 30 and 50 USD (depending on the field and academic level). Access to transportation and housing services, subject to the available capacity of the Mauritanian National Center for University Services. Required Application File: Copy of the Baccalaureate transcript. Copies of transcripts for all university years. Copy of the Bachelor’s (Licence) degree. Enrollment certificate for the current 2nd year of Master’s (2025-2026). Official class ranking certificate. The proposed PhD thesis project. Copy of the first page of your passport. A signed commitment to submit the Master’s degree immediately upon graduation. Submission Details & Deadline: Applications must be submitted to the Department’s Post-Graduation Office.
